Mogadishu, 08 December 2025: Some of the political organizations of the country have officially submitted the National Electoral Commission and the Executive Committee (GMDQS) to the candidates competing for the elections of the regional council of Banadir region.
Political organizations that submitted the list of candidates include:

The political organization of the union of Somalia Saab
Political organization of justice and coalition.
Madalsan Political Organization
Political organization for reconciliation and development of Towfiiq
Political organization for development and national unity.
Political organization of the unity of the people.
National Democratic Political Organization
Political organization of national value
Political organization for good government of Somalia
The political organization of Somali citizens.
This step is part of the efforts to make the upcoming elections be conducted transparent, transparent and in accordance with the official schedule announced by the committee.
The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Committee, Mr. Cabdikarim Ahmed Hassan, has called on political organizations who have not yet submitted the list of candidates to submit to the final date that is on 10th December.
